SOCIAL VALUE OF MIMA MUSIC:
The SpinJazz brand is MIMA Music’s nonprofit solution to critical budget cuts in the Arts and Education.
Through SpinJazz, we employ the skills of college musicians to create a cost-effective
and high-impact solution that can replicate itself worldwide through a franchise-model.
MIMA Music mobilizes the most skilled and enthusiastic college students
to give free music lessons to inner-city children through after-school SpinJazz programs.
SpinJazz carries the elegance, freedom, and livelihood of the improvised Jazz tradition abroad,
and adapts it to a modern cosmopolitan worldview.

SOCIAL IMPACT OF MIMA MUSIC:
College students serve as musical role models for children,
provide them with transformational educational experiences, and help them do better in school.
MIMA Music provides a service learning experience for college students
that will influence their decisions to become professional music teachers post-graduation.
MIMA Music’s other SpinJazz programs (In-school, Live, Online, and Worldwide)
reward participating college students with opportunities to showcase their talents,
thereby generating proceeds to fund SpinJazz after-school programs.
