MIMA's mission is to use music improvisation to engage and enrich communities.

We offer music-making and songwriting workshops in communities around the world, and train young leaders to lead these workshops in their home communities.

Our goal is to help people create, communicate and cultivate a better understanding of themselves and the world around them. Improvisation is the guiding principle for MIMA's programs and curriculum; "we love to improvise."
