The MIMA Method is a proprietary approach to teaching classes, developed by MIMA teachers and implemented in classes around the world

The MIMA Method offers teachers, musicians, and leaders a new approach to leading music classes that also may be applied to other creative group activities. MIMA teachers are trained in the MIMA Method and given a handbook upon completion of training.

The MIMA Method has four basic steps: inspire, transform, create, and celebrate. It is as much a mindset and a way of interacting with the world, as it is a set of exercises and steps. The exercises are designed to teach traditional musical skills such as rhythm, pitch and melody, while also having a deep emotional effect on individuals.

The goal of the MIMA Method is to unlock the creative potential of students, so that they may lead more fulfilling lives and have a positive impact on the rest of their community.
